Peer Jury and Peer Mediation is a student-led program that provides an alternative to common disciplinary actions. The goal of the program is to help students solve their internal and external conflicts and repair the harm they have caused. Sessions are overseen by an adult, but not always a teacher.
Students can earn service learning hours by becoming peer jurors and mediators. Peer jurors and peer mediators meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays during and after school in addition to monthly training sessions. Visit www.peerjury.com for additional information.
