The Junior National Honor Society is comprised of sophomore and junior students who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Junior National Honor Society is not only an academic honor society. It is also a service organization in which members can earn service learning hours through their participation in various club-sponsored activities.

Membership is by invitation only. Students are invited to join at the beginning of their sophomore year. The primary criterion for induction into JNHS is the student's grade point average at the conclusion of 9th grade.
