IB Accomplishments

  • 49 Senn students earned the IB diploma between 2002 and 2009.
  • 7 Senn IB Class of 2006 students were designated Illinois State Scholars.
  • 1 Senn IB Class of 2004 graduate was named a Gates Millennium Scholar.
 
  • 6 Senn IB graduates were awarded Posse Foundation Scholarships; 3 to Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota; 1 to University of Wisconsin; 1 to Denison University in Granville, Ohio; and 1 to Oberlin College in Ohio
  • 1 Senn IB graduate was awarded a four-year tuition scholarship for her participation in the science fair.
  • 1 Senn IB graduate was granted sophomore standing at Cornell College in Iowa based on her IB results.
 
  • 1 Senn IB Class of 2001 graduate earned a four-year tuition scholarship to DePaul University in Who Wants to Win a Scholarship competition.
  • 2 Senn IB Class of 2002 graduates earned bachelor's degrees in three years due to credits earned through the IB Program.
  • The Senn IB Diploma Programme successfully completed the mandated five-year review conducted by the International Baccalaureate Organization during the 2005-2006 school year.
 
  • Nine of the 19 Senn 2009 IB graduates earned the IB Diploma.
  • The Senn IB Class of 2009 was offered more than $1 million in scholarships. Among the colleges and universities the graduates will be attending are: DePaul University, University of Chicago, University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and University of Michigan
