Spanish Club offers students an opportunity to use Spanish in an informal setting, and at the same time, learn about the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Club members participate in field trips to museums, theaters and the annual Chicago Latino Film Festival.
Club members also attend musical and cultural performances, visit residents at Casa Central Nursing Home and perform Latin-American dances in Senn's annual International Festival. Senn students participate in the annual city-wide Spanish poetry/oratory contest. The Senn Spanish Club has produced many winners
Spanish Club members enhance their classmates knowledge of Hispanic culture by hosting a Day of the Dead presentation and performing at the International Festival and the Hispanic Heritage Assembly. In addition, club members provide peer tutoring services.
