Driver Education Information

Senn Students will complete behind the wheel at Amundsen High School.  Students will complete 3 hours of Range followed by 6 hours of Traffic.  After holding their permit for a minimum of 9 months and completing 50+ hours of practice.  After completing all of those task, students are eligible for their driver licences at the Secretary of State facility.
 
Students will need to log 50 practice driving hours(10 hours at night) with an adult 21 years of age or older with a valid driver licenses.  Below is the link for the driving hours log.  Please print and keep track.

Fees/Applications
  • $20.00 permit fee-  Check or money order made payable to "Secretary of State"
  • Permit application with parent signature  and proof of classroom completion
  • Pay the $50.00 to the CPS through the Illinois E-pay website and PRINT A COPY FOR YOUR RECORDS (Screen shot) of the receipt for proof of payment.  You will need to produce this receipt to pick up your permit.
