IB Diploma/Prep

Thank you for your interest in applying to the IB Diploma/Diploma Prep Program at Senn High School!

Admission to all Senn High School programs is governed by the GoCPS application process (www.go.cps.edu). Applications for the 2019-20 school year are open from early fall through mid-December. Exact dates can be found on the GoCPS website.

*Senn is a wall to wall IB High School, thus all students will participate in the IB Middle Years Programme in 9th and 10th grade, and have access to college-level IB courses in 11th and 12th grades.

SELECTION

SELECTION IS BASED ON YOUR RANKING OF SCHOOLS/PROGRAMS.

Since you will only receive one offer, RANK US AT THE TOP OF YOUR LIST to help ensure an offer to Senn's IB Programme.

**Even if you are highly qualified, you will NOT receive an offer if you do not rank us high enough on your list of schools.**

Minimum qualifications include 24% each on the NWEA Reading and Math (or combined 48% for students with IEP), a minimum 7th grade GPA of 2.5, and attendance at an IB information session.

SCREENING REQUIREMENT

Families must SCHEDULE an IB Information Session when applying to Senn's IB Programme through the GoCPS site. If you are a paper applicant, please register for your IB Info Session HERE.

City-wide Information Sessions will be held at Senn:

Sunday, November 17, 2019, 11:00AM
Wednesday, December 4, 2019, 6:00PM
Tuesday, January 21, 2020, 6:00PM

Attendance at one of these Information Sessions (or one hosted by another IB school) is necessary in order to apply to Senn.

*While attendance at one of the Information Sessions is mandatory, it does not guarantee selection. Final selections will be determined by your ranking of Senn, along with a final application cut score based on your GPA and NWEA scores.*
