ROLLING WAITLIST INSTRUCTIONS
A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO APPLY FOR SENN ARTS
Are you interested in joining the Senn Arts Magnet Program?
We have spots available in Music, Dance, Theatre, and Visual Arts
for incoming 9th graders for the 2025-26 school year. Apply today
by following the steps below!
Step 1 | SUBMIT YOUR DIGITAL AUDITION/PORTFOLIO
Have you already applied and auditioned for the Senn Arts Program?
Skip to step 2 to join the waitlist!
If you did not audition for Senn Arts in Fall 2024, please submit your audition/portfolio
through this FORM for the Senn Arts strand you’d like to join. Please review the
information below to prepare and submit audition/portfolio materials.
DANCE audition includes two videos: 1) Introduction 2) Performance of Choreography
MUSIC audition includes two videos: 1) Performance of a piece of music 2) Interview Questions
THEATRE audition includes two videos: 1) Prepared Monologue 2) Interview Questions
VISUAL ART audition includes: 1) Art Portfolio 2) “Multiple Viewpoints” Artwork 3) Interview Questions
Step 2 | JOIN THE ROLLING WAITLIST FOR SENN ARTS ON GoCPS
You MUST apply via GoCPS before applying for the Waitlist Submission.
The GoCPS rolling waitlist opens on Monday, April 21, during which time you can join
the waitlist for any Senn Arts strand, including Dance, Music, Theatre, and Visual Art.
Applicants will receive offers from the waitlist each week until each strand is full. All of
our arts disciplines have spaces open. Please know, all schools are included on the
Rolling Waitlist, and students can add any school that they are eligible to apply for to
their application regardless of capacity. You do not have to decline any offers in order
to join the Rolling Waitlist.
Step 3 I ACCEPT YOUR OFFER
If accepted from the rolling waitlist, students will have 2 business days to accept or decline
their Senn Arts offer. Important dates for the GoCPS process can be found here.
