Your audition will include a short interview where we will discuss your academic and artistic goals, your interest and commitment to theatre, the collaborative process, and the Senn Arts Theatre program.

Here are some prompts that you can prepare to answer:

  • What prior theatre training have you received?
  • Tell us about any theatre performances you have participated in.
  • Tell us why you want to enroll in a theatre program and tell how you see yourself using theatre or skills you learn in theatre classes in the future.

Improvisation:

This is the part you can’t really prepare for! And probably the most fun! Improvisation or Improv, is performing without a script.

  • You will be paired with an actor from the Senn Arts Theatre Ensemble to perform a scene together!
  • We will be looking for how well you put yourself in the world of the scene, how well you work with the other actor, and how you react in the moment with your imagination!
