Incoming 9th Graders

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SENN HIGH SCHOOL!

Admission to Senn High School is governed by the GoCPS application process (www.go.cps.edu). Offers for the first round of incoming freshman for the 2026-27 school year will be released Friday 2/13 at 5 pm. Those offers must be accepted by 3/6. If you are interested in attending Senn but do not live in our attendance boundary and did not apply in round 1, you can still do so when the rolling waitlist opens on March 30, 2026. 

Accepted students are invited to come see the school and choose their classes on April 9th from 5 to 7 pm. More information will be emailed prior to that event. 

Students who live within Senn's attendance boundary (check the CPS School Locator) are granted guaranteed offers through our General Education pathway. All students, regardless of application type, become part of our IB Middle Years Programme in 9th. Following 10th grade, students can apply for our IB Diploma or IB Career-related Programmes through an internal admission process if interested.
