Broadcast Journalism Major

Students in the Journalism program will learn applied skills in gathering information, writing news stories, and delivering those stories through digital technology. The program will cover fundamentals in news literacy and digital storytelling. Students will also explore ethical implications of journalism while learning to report on their neighborhood, their school, and their community. Students in this program will acquire the crucial writing and research skills needed for college and for active citizenship. The Digital Journalism program was developed in close collaboration with our partner, Loyola University Chicago.
